The Nissan Cube EV

July 20, 2009 | | Comments 0

The Nissan Electric Vehicle prototype has been seen by auto industry enthusiasts and experts in Detroit, and this prototype all-electric Nissan Cube hasn’t failed to impress. The Cube electric prototype is one of the most sophisticated of the Electric Vehicles on the market and in design today.

One of the most noticeable things about the Cube EV is that it is quiet. It obviously doesn’t have the noise of pistons firing and other noises that you get from a gas engine, but it doesn’t have the high-pitched electrical whine that is so often the case with other Electric Vehicle prototypes.

The Nissan EV will be designed as a city vehicle, able to travel 70 miles on a single charge. It will serve very well as a second car for families who may rely on a gas-powered vehicle for longer trips and the EV for city driving.

The earliest that Nissan will release their Electric Vehicle will be in 2010. In the meantime, check out all of the amazing Nissan vehicles at your local Nissan dealer today.
