Guess what’s right around the corner? Along with the holidays comes the bitter, bitter cold and along with the bitter, bitter cold comes brutal driving conditions, especially if you live in areas with colder climates. And whether you drive an old-fashioned beater or a brand spanking new 2009 Maxima, you’ll need to make sure that you’re taking care of your vehicle in those chilly months.

Tires

The first things you’ll need to check out on your car for the winter are the tires. Make sure you’ve got plenty of tread and, depending on where you live, a solid set of winter or all-season tires that can grip the ice and snow and make driving easier. Full winter tires are your best options, of course, but a good pair of all-seasons can take you through if need be.

Battery

Make sure you check your battery to ensure that it has enough juice. Have it checked by your mechanic and make sure that it has plenty of charge for the winter, as you’d hate to get stuck out there without power in your vehicle.

Fluid Levels

Make sure your fluid levels are up to par. Check coolant and oil regularly to make sure that you’re running your vehicle at the right temperatures. Your mechanic will now the exact readings you’ll need, so take your car or truck in as soon as possible to get the jump on the chilly weather this winter.

If you’re ever in doubt about the reliability of your car, you can always come on down and check out one of our brand new 2009 Maxima models from Nissan. To book your test drive today, click below!

Nissan owns you, admit it. And apparently Nissan also owns Motor Trend, as the Nissan Maxima for 2009 was named a contender for Motor Trend’s Car of the Year and the Nissan GT-R wound up winning the damn thing. That’s right, the car known by its nickname “Godzilla” was named the Motor Trend Car of the Year for the 2009 model year and the 2009 Maxima, a car charged with rediscovering its sporty roots as has been well documented here, was a contender.

Now doesn’t that make you feel good to drive a Nissan? Oh, you don’t?

While there may be some readers examining this post that don’t yet drive a Nissan, there is nothing to fear. You will soon. Nissan is taking the world by storm and it’s not just the Nissan GT-R and the Nissan Maxima cleaning house in the 2009. There are other Nissan cars, too, like the Altima. And every car on the docket will rock your socks off, I promise.

So how does one find out about these sock-rocking vehicles? Well, test drives are good. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we’ll start dishing out some serious tips on how to properly test drive a vehicle, how to get your butt in the seat of a fine Nissan product, and how to find a dealer near you with which you can make a purchase. For starters, clicky-click below!

A lot of people make the mistake of dubbing the Nissan Maxima as an old person’s car. Indeed, many drivers simply bypass the vehicle altogether because they think it’s an unsporty, unattractive version of a car their parents carted them around with in their youth. As a car that, allegedly, won’t pick up girls and won’t beat anyone off the line, most people are probably already thinking of hitting the “Back” button on their browser upon seeing the name Nissan Maxima.

But wait!

The 2009 Maxima isn’t your father’s car. It isn’t your mother’s car. It isn’t even crazy Uncle Larry’s car. It’s your car, doggone it!

The 2009 Nissan Maxima has a new look that will pull people to the windows and have them breathing all over the glass before you can say “I told you so!” The ’09 Maxima is so styling and so cool that it was enough for Nissan to add it to their brand spanking new lineup of slick new updates for 2009. With the popular 350Z on its way and a whole fleet of sweet, sweet magic from Nissan filling car dealer lots. It really was only a matter of time before Nissan got a big style upgrade for the Maxima.

So unless you like being way, way behind on the trends, you’ll need to book your test drive for the new-look Maxima today. Don’t delay.

When a car company has a flagship vehicle, it takes the production of such a car or truck very seriously. In the case of the 2009 Nissan Maxima, the notion of it being Nissan’s flagship vehicle is a notion that the company has to take very seriously indeed.

The thing about this particular incarnation of Nissan’s flagship is that it claims to be a 4DSC. For those not in the know, 4DSC stands for 4-Door Sports Car. That’s no small claim on behalf of Nissan, as a car with this type of fanfare certainly needs to live up to its billing.

With Nissan putting a lot of stock behind the 2009 Maxima, it has to deliver and it has to deliver well. The good news is that most accounts suggest that it does and the 4DSC sticker on the rear windows isn’t just for decoration. The sport tuned suspension certainly helps matters, as does the 190 horsepower V6 engine. For Nissan lovers, the 2009 Maxima is a bolt from the blue designed to reclaim Nissan’s flagship and deliver a quality car at an affordable price.

Of course, the best way to see if Nissan’s flagship vehicle delivers is to find out for yourself. Hop on down to your local Nissan dealer today and book your test drive. Or, better yet, just click below.

With the release of the 2009 Nissan Maxima, Nissan is banking on the car’s billing at a possible 4-Door Sports Car.

Maxima had some stickers placed on the rear windows of older models of the Maxima that read “4DSC,” standing for 4-Door Sports Car of course. Those past models of the Nissan Maxima maybe weren’t quite up to par of what a sports car was expected to be, but the idea was nice and it provided a sense of style and substance for owners of the incarnation.

Fast forward to today and witness the 2009 Nissan Maxima. Perhaps those stickers wouldn’t be so out of place now, as Nissan’s car boasts a sporty look and a speed-power quotient that owns the road. By selling the vehicle as the 4-Door Sports Car, Nissan is banking on knocking down a demographic that has long been longing for a vehicle that best suits their lifestyle.

The 2009 Nissan Maxima is that vehicle, a powerful and sporty four-door vehicle that is both comfortable and exciting, stylish and durable. It is the ultimate car for the family or the ultimate car for a night on the town.

To see for yourself, head on in to your local dealer and test drive a 2009 Nissan Maxima today. You’ll be glad you did.

The Nissan Maxima for 2009 has yet another thing going for it that many other cars might not be proud of. Indeed, the wider girth of the Maxima allows for better handling than its predecessors and many of its competitors.

Sure, an increase in width isn’t going to be a reason to celebrate for us humans. But for the 2009 Maxima, an increase in girth around the midsection is just the ticket to improve the safe-handling capabilities of the car. It adds smoothness to the turning and improves the way the car moves. Add to that the fact that the Maxima is shorter in car length and wheelbase and you’ve got a short, stout car that can really handle the curves. No question about it.

Perhaps amazingly, the reduction in length and the addition in girth has resulted in an overall weight reduction in the 2009 Maxima. Indeed the car is slicker and lighter, offering better movement and control to the driver. Add to that an increase in cabin room and you’ve got a car that offers more elbow room than ever before with a lot of control and easy-driving goodness to boot.

For your chance to slip into a 2009 Maxima, head on down to your local dealer today and book a test drive.

Nissan has increasingly been doing things, as a company, to let its customers and enthusiasts know that it appreciates them. A great example of this effort by Nissan to reach out is the Shift Into Gear Experience, held at the Nissan headquarters in Mississauga.

The Shift Into Gear Experience is a program that Nissan held in Canada in September of this year. At this event, Maxima owners and enthusiasts were allowed not only to take a look at the new 2009 Nissan Maxima, they were allowed to book test drives online and drive the new version of Nissan’s flagship sedan.

In addition to test driving the Maxima, the 2009 GT-R, 2009 Titan SE, the 2009 Murano, The 2009 Versa, the 2008 350z Roadster, as well as the Altima sedan and coupe were all present at the event.

The test drive for the Maxima took around 20 minutes, although some participants asked for some extra time.

Participants raved about the new Maxima. The refined platform, redesigned interior, new styling, more powerful engine, and even the heated steering wheel all stood out as favorite features of the new model year Maxima.

Visit your local Nissan dealer today. We’ve got just the right car to suit your style, your needs, and your budget. Give one a test drive today.

For starters, the 2009 Nissan Maxima might startle some people because it’s a front wheel drive. Nissan’s goal with the vehicle was to make it drive like a rear wheel drive, of course, and to make it look like a rear wheel drive. And most reports suggest that the company succeeded.

Built on the platform used by the famed Altima sedan and the Murano crossover, Nissan built the 2009 Maxima to look like a rear wheel drive with a difference. The idea was to transform the notions of poor styling on front wheel drive cars and replace it with renewed vigour, giving the consumer a highly functional car with a great, sleek, slick look.

And the styling is strong, too. The car has muscular lines, owing a lot to the curves and three bar grille. It is a sweet-looking ride, one that ought to turn lots of heads on the road. The car is contemporary, stylish, and fresh. It is a clean-looking vehicle, offering angular lights and properly-sized wheels that don’t look too clunky on the body like other FWD machines.

But the best way to check out how the 2009 Maxima looks is to simply have a look for yourself. Better still, slip behind the wheel and give yourself a test drive. You owe it to yourself. Trust me.

Perhaps none of us have wanted to test the car’s gas mileage much in the same way that Kramer did in that one episode of Seinfeld, but most of us do have our own best ideas as to how to test drive a vehicle. But do we really know what we’re looking for?

One of the things we ought to be looking for is how the vehicle handles itself over various types of roads. Don’t be afraid to take a longer test drive than the norm to check out how the car runs over some of the rougher roads in your area, especially if you plan to drive on them regularly. You should take the car over a route that is as similar to your actual daily route as possible, thus checking all of the bells and whistles in a “game time situation.”

Also, check the car’s idle. Is it rough or smooth? Does the car respond well to your touch or is it a little tricky to operate? Don’t be afraid to really get into the nuances of testing your vehicle, regardless of the type.

To book a real test drive with a real vehicle you can use on any route, why not check out a 2009 Maxima from Nissan? You’ll be glad you did the second you slip into the supple seats and test this magical ride out for yourself.

Owners and fans of the Nissan Maxima got a chance to check out the new model for 2009 with Nissan’s Shift Into Gear Experience event. The event was held in early September and was said to be a big success for Nissan’s profile in Canada, helping expose more people to the 2009 Maxima.

The 2009 Nissan Maxima is intended to be the company’s flagship sedan, providing thrills and chills for a customer base hungry for something different in a sedan that will place them at the pinnacle of fun but will save them from the gas pump pirates that haunt us all in our dreams. Nissan is hoping that it’s new Maxima will not only provide those thrills, but will save consumers from ditching all of their spare funds into the gas tank.

The Shift Into Gear Experience allowed potential customers the chance to book a drive behind the wheel of a 2009 Maxima and test the model out for themselves. People also had the chance to view the Nissan GT-R, one of the sweetest rides in the industry at the moment, and check out the 2009 Titan SE. It was a wonderful opportunity for potential consumers and Nissan would do well to have more events like it in the future.

For more information on Nissan cars like the GT-R, the Titan SE, or the 2009 Maxima, drop on by your local Nissan dealer today and book your own test drive. You’ll be glad you did!
