Motor Trend’s Car of the Year

Nissan owns you, admit it. And apparently Nissan also owns Motor Trend, as the Nissan Maxima for 2009 was named a contender for Motor Trend’s Car of the Year and the Nissan GT-R wound up winning the damn thing. That’s right, the car known by its nickname “Godzilla” was named the Motor Trend Car of the Year for the 2009 model year and the 2009 Maxima, a car charged with rediscovering its sporty roots as has been well documented here, was a contender.

Now doesn’t that make you feel good to drive a Nissan? Oh, you don’t?

While there may be some readers examining this post that don’t yet drive a Nissan, there is nothing to fear. You will soon. Nissan is taking the world by storm and it’s not just the Nissan GT-R and the Nissan Maxima cleaning house in the 2009. There are other Nissan cars, too, like the Altima. And every car on the docket will rock your socks off, I promise.
