2009 Nissan Maxima Review
The 2009 Nissan Maxima four-door sports car is the flagship sedan in the Nissan lineup. Build on the front-wheel drive “D” platform, the new Maxima is shorter between the wheels, but has a wider front and rear track. The new styling is aggressive, with upright grill work and sculpted lines.
Underneath the hood, the 2009 Nissan Maxima features a 3.5 liter V6 DOHC 24-valve VQ-series engine. This is the same engine that powered the previous version of the Maxima, and that powers most of the rest of Nissan’s fleet of vehicles. This version of the engine is capable of producing 290 horsepower, which is 35 more horsepower than the previous version of the Maxima.
The 2009 Nissan Maxima has an aluminum intensive MacPherson strut suspension in the front of the vehicle, while the rear has a separate spring and shock multilink setup. There are a number of reinforcements for the chassis, as well.
There are plenty of luxury options, too. The 2009 Nissan Maxima is available with leather seats, wood dash paneling, and all sorts of electronic devices such as XM NavTraffic and a rear view camera.
If you’re up for the ultimate 4-door sports car, look no further than the 2009 Maxima. It’s got everything you’re looking for in a car.
