The iPhone just keeps better and better. Now, you can control your Nissan vehicle remotely through your iPhone. How smart is that?

One iPhone app and you can start your Nissan while lying in bed. Running late? The iPhone will come to your rescue, thanks to a company called Delphi.

Using a Sony Reader, the company developed a link between Bluetooth and the iPhone through the key fob. The key fob has a security element that requires a PIN so that only the person in possession can use it. Program your iPhone to know your key fob PIN and you can remotely control your Nissan vehicle from up to a mile away.

That’s something to think about the next time you go shopping for an automobile. Have an iPhone? Prepare to finance a Nissan vehicle that you can control from a further distance.

The cool thing about this technology is that it can only get better. This is the first generation of iPhone technology that lets vehicle owners remote control their vehicles from a distance. Just imagine the improvements that are to come once the technology has been around for five years. Can you imagine financing a Nissan knowing that you might some day be able to program your car to pick you up at the door?

While the exterior of the 2009 Nissan Cube is certainly unique for a car of its size, it’s the interior that really stands out. The inside of this little car belies tis small size, offering plenty of riding space for passengers and room for the driver.

The 2009 Nissan Cube seats five people. The rear seat is a lounge-style seat, and it sits a bit higher than the front seats. It is also able to slide to increase rider comfort. The inside of the vehicle features soft curves, and almost has the look and feel of a Jacuzzi. There is even a ripple design that’s integrated into the cupholders, audio speakers in the door, as well as the C-pillar. Even the headliner on the model without the sunroof has ripple-like images.

The cockpit has a large feel to it, thanks to the s-shape design. The front seat cushions are elongated and thicker than previous versions of the Nissan Cube, adding to everyone’s comfort.

The interior of the 2009 Nissan Cube is available in Wall Gray or Graphite. You can add a beige dash, brown upholstery and grey shag carpet with a built-in odor-eater capability.

When you’re driving through the ice and snow, keep in mind that spring is bound to get here, eventually. You want your Nissan vehicle to be ready when it is, too. While you often hear about preparing your car for winter, you rarely hear anything about preparing your car for spring.

Here are some things you can do to get your Nissan ready for the warmer spring weather:

Check your spark plugs. Just like you did when getting ready for winter, it’s time to check your spark plugs. Check the wires, too. Worn out spark plugs and worn out spark plug wires can reduce your fuel efficiency significantly.

Check your wheels. It’s not uncommon for you to need to have your tires balanced after the winter. You might also need an alignment. If your car swivers or if it swerves, this is an especially good sign you may need your tires balanced. If balancing your tires doesn’t do the trick, you’ll need an alignment.

Check your brakes. Make sure your braking time is sufficienty. Listen for any odd sounds coming from your brakes, as well.

The best way to be ready for spring is to come to your Turnersville area Nissan dealer today and drive away with a new car for spring.

The 2009 Nissan Altima is probably one of the least boring family cars you can find. Available as a sedan or a coupe, the Altima is more sporty than just about any other family car on the market. Yet, its drive, features and comfort are all designed more for family driving than for track driving.

There are several trim levels available for the Nissan Altima. Even the base Altima 2.5 has plenty to offer a family. It includes a trip computer, air conditioning and full power accessories. The ride to grandma’s house is plenty comfortable in this vehicle.

The 2.5 S adds more family-friendly features. You get a 6-speaker CD audio system, along with an auxiliary jack for the kids to plug in their MP3 players into the car. The next step up, the Altima 3.5 SE, gives you plenty of other upgrades, as well.

The Altima 3.5 SL is the top of the line model and features plenty more creature comforts. There are rear passenger vents for the dual zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, a 9-speaker Bose audio system with an in-dash satellite radio and CD/MP3 player.

If you need a new way to get your family around in style, consider the 2009 Nissan Altima. Come take a look at your Turnersville area Nissan dealer today, and we’ll show you why the Nissan Altima is a wonderful way to get your family around.

It’s surprisingly easy to get a little bit of cabin fever over your holiday break. When the kids are home from school this year, there are many places you can go in your 2009 Nissan Maxima to get away for a little while, and get them out from in front of the television or their video games. Here are a few ideas:

Go skating. Even if your community doesn’t have a public skating rink indoors, there may be an outdoor one. In fact, in colder climates it’s not uncommon to find several outdoor skating rinks in one community.

Go sledding. Whether it’s a formal public sledding location or just a hill in the park, sledding can provide hours of entertainment for the kids.

Visit some friends. Christmas break is a great time to get together with friends or family that you haven’t seen in a while. Load up your 2009 Nissan Maxima and go spend some time with loved ones.

Come take a look at your Turnersville area Nissan dealer today, and we’ll show you why the Nissan Maxima is a wonderful way to get around this holiday season.

This time of year, it’s important to think about your driving habits and how best to handle driving your 2009 Nissan Maxima on the snow and the ice. Here are some things to keep in mind this winter.

If you hit a patch of ice and start to skid, your car may start to loose traction. When you begin to skid, keep focused on where you want the car to go. Don’t look at the other cars on the road or the walls, because you’ll likely turn your wheel to head toward them. Just focus on correcting your steering.

The anti-lock brakes on your 2009 Nissan Maxima help you to keep your wheels turning and keep control of steering when you slip. Keep your foot on the gas and keep steering.
If you get stuck in the snow, you can use an abrasive substance such as kitty litter or sand to try to get unstuck. It’s a good idea to keep a small supply in the trunk of your 2009 Nissan Maxima just for these types of situations. Also, it’s best to carry with you a small spade or shovel to help clear away some of that snow and ice.

When you get ready to drive after you have a big storm, make sure the tailpipe is clear of snow before driving. The fumes can back up and carbon monoxide is an insidiously quick killer.

Come take a look at your Turnersville area Nissan dealer today, and we’ll show you why the Nissan Maxima is the best car you can drive this winter.

You drive a Nissan Maxima because, presumably, you care about value. You recognize a quality product when you see it, and you recognize when you can get that quality product at an affordable price.

One of the most important aspects of owning a car is maintaining its value. This not only makes your driving experience more pleasant, it increases the resale value when you go to sell the vehicle.

Here are some tips that can help maintain the resale value of your Nissan:

Avoid excess miles. Lower mileage cars will always be worth more than high mileage cars.

Get regular service and keep records of the service. It helps the car run better and it proves to a buyer that you’ve taken care of it.

Keep it clean. Get your car detailed both inside and out from time to time. Don’t eat in your car, drink in your car or smoke in your car. Stains and smells will decrease a car’s value significantly.

Avoid rust. Wash your vehicle during the winter to get rid of salt deposits.

Store your car properly. If you can store it in a garage, that will help maintain the trim, moldings and paint.

Come take a look at your Turnersville area Nissan dealer today, and we’ll show you why the Nissan Maxima is loved by enthusiasts year after year.

There’s no better vehicle to take on your road trip this winter than the 2009 Nissan Maxima. Whether you’re driving your Maxima across town, across the state or across the country, this car gives you a smooth ride, plenty of room and an overall pleasant experience.

Still, there are some things you should do to prepare for your road trip that can help increase your safety and comfort. Here are some things to consider when preparing for your trip this winter:

Keep some warm blankets or sleeping bags in the trunk in case you are stranded.

Pack a small shovel and some kitty litter to help get unstuck from the snow if necessary.

Stop every couple of hours to stretch your legs and use the restroom.

Get a map of where you’re going. You can print one from the Internet, use a GPS, or even use a plain old printed map.

Put together a first aid kit for your car.

Dress in layers so that you can regulate your body temperature as you travel.

Most of all, make sure you are indeed driving that 2009 Nissan Maxima if you want to get the most from your winter trip.

A few years back, Nissan and partner Renault thought about putting some money behind the idea of a partnership between them and General Motors. The investors hated the idea, of course, and nothing ever came out of it but talk. Now, a few years later, Nissan and Renault are taking a look at another potential partnersip and the analysts aren’t big fans.

I’m talking, of course, about the Nissan and Chrysler partnership. Or at least the idea of it.

Chrysler is held to the tune of 80% by Cerberus Capital Management. The company is in the midst of discussing a deal to be acquired by GM, as carmakers struggle to cope with the worst industry downturn in more than a decade. Car companies are scrambling at this point, with many looking to some of the industry giants for a little assistance. Chrysler is hoping to plug into the bloodstream of General Motors.

As a safeguard, Cerberus Capital Management talked to other companies about potential mergers and handouts, with one of those companies being Nissan. Nissan has since refused to pay cash for Chrysler, which may provide a big of a monkey wrench to the plans of Cerberus.

Nevertheless, it says something about Nissan’s standing in the world of automakers that a company like Chrysler would come to them for help.
